GREETING
Piezo Sonic was founded with the desire to develop robots that support people's daily lives and create a society where people and robots work together. Our goal is to "support people's lives with motors and robotics technology, and to create a society where people can enjoy life even if they are injured or ill."
Our main product is the piezosonic motor (ultrasonic motor), which reduces global power consumption and is ideal for a world that aims to become carbon neutral.
Piezosonic motors are small, powerful, and have the ability to maintain their posture with zero standby power. JAXA expects this motor to be used not only as a motor for exploration equipment, but also as an actuator for robots that can work in collaboration with humans.
In addition, because it does not use magnets or coils for its motion principle, it has attracted attention as a non-magnetic motor that can be used near MRIs, which use magnetism for measurement, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, which is sensitive to the effects of magnetic fields.
Another business that we are promoting that intersects with our piezosonic motor (ultrasonic motor) business is the "consulting development services" business, which includes the development of robots using our own technology.
In this business, we work to improve our technology through both software and hardware development, and our transportation AMR Mighty, which applies the "rough-terrain driving technology of lunar exploration rovers," has been highly praised as a robot that can run stably even on uneven surfaces. In addition, together with over 30 partner manufacturers, we do not simply undertake contract development, but also support the technology that our customers need and help them realize the products they really want to make.

Graduated from the Chuo University Graduate School of Science and Engineering. While at Chuo University, he was involved in the development of motors for space probes as a joint research project with JAXA. After that, for 10 years, he worked on the development of ultrasonic motors at a joint research motor manufacturer. In ultrasonic motors and other robotics technologies, he was responsible for almost all processes, from mechanical design and drive circuit design, development, and manufacturing. In 2017, he went independent and founded Piezo Sonic Co., Ltd., with the philosophy of "realizing hardware that supports people's lives, aiming to create a society where people can enjoy their lives even if they are injured or ill." In addition to developing his own products, he is also active as a practical consulting partner to solve customers' problems.
